Oregon Consular Corps Scholarship Fund

The Oregon Consular Corps Scholarship Fund is an Oregon nonprofit corporation established to provide scholarships for junior and senior students in international studies at Oregon universities and colleges.  Presently, eight scholarships are awarded annually to meritorious students at the University of Oregon, Oregon State University, Portland State University, and Lewis and Clark College.  Beyond annual scholarships, the goal of the fund is to build an endowment to fund scholarships into the future for an expanded student population.  The principal sources of funding come from the annual Celebrate Trade Gala presented with an array of partners from state and local government and businesses, and from charitable gifts to the endowment.  The Oregon Consular Corps Scholarship Fund is recognized as a charitable, tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization.  Contributions to the fund are deductible to the full extent allowed by law.

General criteria and considerations include:

  • Minimum of eight credit hours international coursework
  • Accepted into International Studies major
  • Junior class standing
  • Full-time student status during the academic year of the award
